Speaking of being a technical retardo, I saw ICQ (amongst others) that allow international chats. Has anyone had an success with this with someone overseas. If I could hook it up with the family in Germany, it would be really something.

Yes it is, vogue…and a few of us are usually in there at any given time.
Shirley: IRC is worldwide. The other night there was a guy in there from New Zealand. If you type /list in the room you’ll get a list of all the current rooms, there are always lots from other countries (and a few hundred sex chat rooms) and in other languages, etc.
