What a long strange thread it’s been.
Well, I watched the Matrix Reloaded yesterday, and there were no burning dogs. My confusion is renewed.
The movie sucked by the way, not that I really appreciated the first one all that much.
The burning dog reference is actually out of Caddy Shack 2… The idea that some government agency is staking out stupid people was from the Matrix. Then there was a few Pulp fiction tossed in for good taste and then the Half Baked post was in response to teleute12’s poke about the code.
The concept of speaking in only movie quotes got me wondering and googling. I think I found Thaidog’s AD&D character sheet:
My search for “speak in movie” also found a touching poem entitled “THAT NOT SO FRESH FEELING”, as well as a paradoxical page where the writer claims to only speak in movie/sitcom quotes but then goes onto say a bunch of things that were never in any movie or sitcom.
