Every manufacturer of these trinkets, (but useful trinkets), has to have it’s own driver in Win9x. XP on the other hand seems to recognize them all. It’s a real problem with Win98 to have to load all the drivers when you dont’ have them with you or have misplaced (lost) them. There is one that is not even available on the www, made by a subsidiary of “GE.”
Aside from not having a standardized driver(s) they sure beat the next best thing, i.e. zip disksdue to being smaller and more connenient to carry.
