When an argument occurs between a Charter Member and a Mere Member (or heaven forbid, a Guest) the Charter Member always wins, especially if their final post is “Neener neener neener, I look better in pink stiletto heels than you do.”
I think there should be something in there for those of us who are “shy” charter members, but charter none the less. We pay, we read, we sometimes post when we are not so cowed by the caliber of writing in previous posts…in essence, we also serve who stand and wait. If not for us, who would you have to dazzle?
Blessed are the meek Charter Members, for they shall inherit MPSIMS.
I’m guessing that the Pit and Great Debates are off the table?
I propose an amendment to protect the human rights of the lurkers.

It is well known and observed that legislation that is created for the sake of its own existence is bad legislation. I see no need for this Act, nor do I care to be bound by any of it!
