Anybody else around here flush enough with PT cash to transfer some to Robot Arm and possibly luci? I’m starting to run a bit low, myself.
Great game last night, guys. Hoping my 2nd place finish was enough to move me up a bit for the quarter. 
Also, the suggestion of a perhaps monthly private tournament for somewhat higher stakes was raised last night. I’d like to endorse the idea heartily, and try to gauge others’ interest and start trying to nail down some details. How much should the buy-in be? ($10?) What night would be good for everybody? (first tuesday after the first monday of the month?)
I’m near $30, but I would be crippled (to hop in a $5 game on a regular basis) if I had to send out $20 with no means of replenishing my account. I had to rely on Xray for the initial deposit and Duke for the other two deposits. I’m not sure if they’re still up to the task. I might look into finding a good (cheap/free) way to do this myself.

Any day might be good for me as long as I can start no earlier than 7:00pm PDT/PST.
For the new guys just joining us, I’ve found Neteller to be a great way to fund poker. It takes a few days to get it set up, and they will call you to confirm that you really are who you say you are. Once set up it’s linked to your bank account and you can either get an instant credit to your account for a small fee (about 10%), or you can get a free electronic transfer that takes a couple of days to clear. I was a bit leery at first and have it linked to an account that has a small amount of money in it, but it’s legit. If you start today you should be good for next Thursday. It also works on PokerStars and PartyPoker (and probably most other sites) so it’s handy to have.

If $20 is the minimum amount that you can transfer, no. I wouldn’t feel right putting the touch on somebody for that much. I would pay it back, but it’s too much to ask of a stranger. (Heck, I wouldn’t even want to mooch 60 cents.)
I tried to set up Neteller last night, but couldn’t get it working in time for the game, obviously. I got the the “we’ve deposited some random number of cents into your account. Tell us how much so we know you’re really you” part. I should have that working by next week.
So far, the best part of poker is that I get to use phrases like “put the touch” and “mooch”.

I’d do a $10 game once a month, but like I said, I’m down to $25 or so in my PT account. I squandered all my winnings from limit games, and I hate using a credit card to put funds into my account. $5 would probably be more in my comfort zone, but I’m flexible.
$5 is where I would be comfortable. Yes, I have blown a lot more than that in the past gambling, but I’m being tightly budgeted now (this living on your own stuff is expensive!) and only put so much cash in the slush fund. Five dollars is like going to a movie or my once-a-week eating out (I go to Quizno’s and get a salad. Tasty, filling, and low carb.) I’d be willing to go up to $10, but honestly, I’d rather play a $2.50 game twice a month than a $5 game once a month or a $5 game twice a month instead of a $10 game once a month. Sure, I pay an extra fifty cents in fees, but even a $2.50 STT results in a decent prize pool. Besides, the fun is playing with you guys, the money is secondary, and I think every other week for lower stakes would be more fun. Plus the cheapy games where I spend more on bacon in a week than I do on poker in a month.

I tried the 1:00 am $5 NL Holdem Tourney last night and got 6th out of 19. Meh. At least I can still bask in the glory from thursday night. Do we have logywhatever standings yet? Just want to see my name in lights.

I can’t remember all the reasons now, but PT had really low limit private tournaments IIRC. That was what we were shopping for, not sure what the lowest limit PS had or how their private tourneys are run.
