The Search in Thread feature is gone

They had an update yesterday, as of this posting, it was 21 hours ago.

A few things have changed and it looks like a new but not yet working feature was added.

Seems to be a new feature to add footnotes. How does it work? [1] [2] Not well. To add footnotes, click the and then * Add Footnotes.[3] Some more lines to test. second test line. The preview almost works though. Second Footnote ︎ This is a footnote ︎ Looks like this new feature is not working yet ︎
