The shape of Florida development

Florida has now learned they need to attract innovation-based industries and not rely almost exclusively on tourism and migration. Things like Scripps Institute in SE Fla., Jackson Labs possibly in Naples area, a new USF polytechnic campus in Lakeland, and high speed rail construction will help create a more stable economy and shore :slight_smile: up the housing market.

We’re courting Algenol, a bio-fuel firm, here. I’m not sure how successful we are at it right now. But it would be good to get more IT and R&D companies on the tax roll.
