That one cop was hitting him hard in the face with his head banging against the building with each punch, it was ugly.
I gotta hand it to the elderly black gentleman for being so tough that even four thug cops had their hands full even though it didn’t appear that the guy was making very much of an effort to fight back.
The fellow (I didn’t catch his name) was interviewed on GMA a few minutes ago and was asked about the allegation of him being drunk and resisting arrest. He answered that he hadn’t had a drink in 25-years and that he couldn’t have been resisting arrest because the one thug cop sucker punched him from behind.
It’s beyond belief that this kind of crap (still) goes on. If there’s any bright spot in all this it’s that a (Caucasian) woman was seen in the video telling one of the cops (as the other rogue cops were doing their thing) that the guy didn’t do anything. At this time, however, they don’t know who the woman is … though it might not matter that much as the fellow was clearly being abused, or so it seemed from the video.
Perhaps he’ll at least get some money for what they did to him, we’ll see.
Would it be possible to have this forum not accept an OP unless it contained at least one question mark? And yes, I realize that ATMB is the correct place for this query.

I suggest moving this to The Pit, so appropriate epithets can be applied to deserving persons.
I suppose a GQ could have been “What percentage of cops use substantial excessive force?” or “How many instances of excessive police force occur in a given year?”
If you were very sheltered, you might ask “Do cops in the US ever beat people?”.
Folks need to remember cops are just human… some will fail to do their jobs properly, just like everyone else.
This “kind of crap” which I take you to mean an apparent senseless beating by authority figures has always gone on and always will. Is human nature.
The General Questions forum is for questions with factual answers. There is no such question here, so I’ll close this thread. Feel free to contribute to the ongoing thread in the BBQ Pit.
