The Simpsons Need to End

I’m still disturbed that the OP wants the characters to die, not just the show. (“The Simpsons Need To End,” not “The Simpsons Needs To End.”)

I’m sure all the main characters have died at least once over the years.

Unfortunately, Discourse doesn’t allow formatting in the thread title. So your point, though typologically valid, falls, as so many other typological conventions have, to the gods of computerization.

Also saying “need” implies that the OP is stating that the individual characters should “die”, while the OP probably meant to say “needs”, which would be a reference to the overall program.

Isn’t that German for “the Bart the”?

“The Simpsons are going to the afterlife!”

Speaking of shows way past their best material…

No one that speaks German can be evil.

Lawrence Welk?

Only if Bart was a girl.

Typical sloppy writing. I stopped watching The Simpsons when they stopped using proper German grammar.

Well, Bart IS voiced by a woman. Maybe it was a typical Simpsons meta-joke?

Tell that to Sideshow Bob - he used that excuse.

That’s why he’s a fan of Gilbert & Sullivan - not Wagner.

Well, who isn’t a fan of Gilbert & Sullivan?

I think a large part of this show is nostalgia.

Parents watch this show with their kids, because the parents used to watch it when they were kids.

Didnt we have a thread that was like a “mad libs” template for an episode of CSI

I just remember dying at
