The Stars are Still Alive, Let's Make a Sequel!

Tom Bosley would be a big miss. He and Fonzie were the only actors in every single episode. Mrs. C only missed 3.

Found this. “O’Hanlon had suffered a stroke and was blind and suffering from limited mobility. He recorded his dialogue in a separate session from the other cast members by having all lines read to him by the recording director Gordon Hunt and then recited one at a time.” They also pitched his voice up. I seem to remember it sounding pretty close to his original.

Tim Curry missed Shock Treatment (he was supposed to play Brad Majors in that one!), as well, but he’s also had a stroke and is wheelchair bound.

Yes, but he was in the TV movie version of RHPS (2016), in his wheelchair, as the criminologist.

You and I might be the only two people in the world who remember and miss this show. “Someone’s at the door…” (Last word pronounced doe-uh)

I got to the end of this list and said, “Wait a minute… Fred Williamson’s not dead, is he?” I even started to look it up. Then I read your post more closely and thought “But…” and had to look up Auberjonois, Duvall, and Skerritt on Wikipedia. I could have sworn they were all dead. It’s like I’m suddenly in a parallel universe where they didn’t die.

I didn’t recognize Gottlieb, Pflug or Schuck by name so they were not as jarring.

Bumping this old thread because I just learned that the entire cast of the TV series Police Woman are still alive; Angie Dickinson, Earl Holliman, Ed Bernard, and Charles Dierkop. We’re only two years from the fiftieth anniversary of the show’s premiere. So let’s start working on that reunion series: Police Woman: I’m Too Old For This Shit.

I’ve never actually seen this show, but from pictures I always thought this guy was Larry Storch from F Troop. Too late to use him as backup now.
