** Dutchboy,** I have microwaved several varieties of pot pies–if they specify on the label that they’re microwavable, that is. Some aren’t. But the ones that are do microwave fairly well, and in much less time than it takes in the regular oven. Just follow the instructions on the package for microwaving, although it might take a bit of adjusting on the cooking time. You can check it towards the end of the projected cook time.
I do agree ** Astro** those pot pies, as delicious as they are, are definitely cholesterol-laden bombs! As well as having too much sodium, which is really bad for folks with high blood pressure. I used to eat them for lunch at work, but lately have found myself eating more and more salad. Seems like the only “safe” foods for me are either fresh foods or something fixed by me.
