The subject line should be reflective of the topic, you asshole

Ouch, guilty as charged. I was thinking of that thread as soon as I read this.

I vow to not do this anymore. I did screw up. Maybe I should take the time to think over those things more. It’ll be a service to the wonderful boards. Please associate my name with something else! Even purple monkey dishwasher!

Oh yeah, you guys would looooove that.

If mods can’t even ban total assholes without constantly being second guessed and accused of over-reacting, imagine how much worse it would be if we banned someone merely for writing inaccurate thread titles.

dewt,

To tell the truth I guess it just doesn’t matter to me. I only stopped in to twit your tail so to speak  . That’s what friends are for :stuck_out_tongue:

er, make that Twist your tail I don’t think Dylan would like me twiting your tail ! :eek

Well, speaking for myself, I never tried to 2nd guess a mod. I’ve never been pissed from someone getting banned, but I getted pissed nearly every time I read the board because of some idiot who makes an useless subject line. So yes, I would love that.

Sorry to waste your time, c_goat. No, I didn’t explain what a FOTC referee is in that thread. Most people who’ve had dealings with the judicial system know what a referee is. Here’s hoping you never have to find out–unless you become a lawyer.

red_dragon60,

Ok. Fair enough… I hereby take back all those nasty things I thought about you. There will be no need for purple monkey dishwashing!

Ayesha, er, I think you are right. Best leave the twitting of my tail to Dylan. But a twist? Awww, no prob. er, OST wait… lemmee go check…

I too choose not to second guess mods. 1st of all, not being a mod, I’ve no idea what it actually entails. 2nd I always thought they were kinda like umpires. Not completely perfect, but running the show as best they can because somebody has to do it.

Oh yeah…

Amen to that. (Not that we have Friends of The Court in Quebec, but there are equivalents-ish - ugh)
