PICK!!!
Up three scores, with the ball, in the 4th?
It’s all over. Here come the Steelers, Detroit!
BTW, the third time’s the charm. The Steelers have, in fact, marched to the Super Bowl.
Bitches.

Shut up, Airman, don’t jinx it!
That’s what you said last year, and the year before.
I think that we can put that “Airman jinxed it” meme to bed. There’s nothing that I can say or do to make it happen.
Besides, they’re still up 2 scores. The Broncos need an honest-to-God miracle to come back now.
Well, atleast they are predictable.
I still have my hopes, but still - just, wow.
No, they don’t need a miracle Airman. There’s still 6 and a half minutes left and our offense is doing nothing.
Ballgame.
See you in Detriot.
Jake… Plummet.
Ballgame.
Yes! Touchdown!!!
Hahahahaha!!!
Pwn3d!!11!one!1eleven!!1
… Denver plummets.
Well, the Steelers have been pretty amazin’ these playoffs. Three road wins, and all of them made their opponents look bad. (It was only a combination of bad luck and bad officiating that made the Indy game close toward the end.)
I don’t think any team has won three road games in the playoffs to go the Superbowl.
What’s even more amazin’ is that the Panthers could do the same thing! That would make for a great Superbowl storyline.
YES!
Congratulations, Airman. Third time’s a charm.
But let’s not get too comfortable. Despite the title of this thread, there’s still one more game to go. So who would you rather beat, Carolina or Seattle?
Oh this is so sweet! What a game!
WOOHOOO!!!
Carolina. Definitely.
Keep Alexander off the field. Carolina has Smith and that’s it. Alexander is due to break out, and I would rather not chance that.
I’m going to immediately start three threads entitled The First [Second/Third] Official Walter Windchill Wins the Powerball Thread.
Indeed. I’m no Steelers fan, but they’ve made two very good teams look very bad over the last two weeks. Happily, those two teams were the only two that I dislike more than the Steelers. Pittsburgh’s playing as well as I’ve seen a team play in years.
Wooo hooo!!! We’re going to the Superbowl!!!
: Does the Happy Superbowl Dance around the living room:
Jerome Bettis gets to finish his career at home, and the city has two more weeks of sheer, blissful insanity.
By the way, the Mozart was indeed in honor of his 250th birthday, and our priest placed a benediction on the Steelers, asking that they be delivered from the Broncos.
By the way, the announcers got it wrong – Detroit’s more like a 5 1/2 hour drive from here. I know because I’m dating a guy from there.
I knew good things came out of Detroit!
*Wooo hooo!!! *

Um, last year and the year before, we didn’t make it to the Superbowl. Who knows if that was on you or not?
We beat the #1, #2 and #3 seeds. At their houses. We dominated them.
I owe my apology to Bill Cowher for starting to doubt him. Unlike past years, his team went into the biggest games absolutely focused and executed exceptionally well.
An interesting note: in the off-season, Roethlisberger said during an interview that the team would not go 15 and 1 again. He said that it would be much better to go 11 and 5 and go to the Superbowl.
Here we go, Steelers.
I just keep singing (forgoing the first line, since it’s a bit irrelevent now)
“The Steelers are going to the Super Bowl!”
We seem to like Super Bowls in multiples of ten. The Steelers have will now have played in Super Bowls X, XXX, and XL. Only SuperBowl XX, with the dominating Bears is the exception.
Dear lord did Big Ben look good today. He had a couple questionable passes, but what QB doesn’t in any game? He was accurate, calm, and completely collected the whole game.
Iiiiiiii’ve got a feeling…the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl!
