The Third Annual Steelers March to the Super Bowl Thread

Whoohoo!

Oh, Yeah!

14-3!

WOOHOO! 14-3!

Did you see the block that Faneca threw to spring him? Dayum!

Up 11. For Cowher this is virtually a lock!

Have the Steelers now been ahead by a score of 14-3 at some point in all four games this post-season?

…And Brown missed ANOTHER 50-yarder in the Super Bowl.

I think he’s looking for a new career after this game.

To answer my own question, no.

14-3 against Indianapolis

10-3, and then 17-3 against Denver

And they were down 17-7 to Cincinnati.

The Steelers have all the mo right now. Look for one of those patented Bill Cowher, 11 minute drives. I predict a steady dose of Parker and Bettis from here on out.

Parker, that’s who!

75 yard run from scrimmage!

Breaks Marcus Allen’s 74 yard Super Bowl record from 1984.

I must say this Super Bowl is a disappointment thus far. Neither team has impressed me at all. Parker’s long run was nice, but it was more of a breakdown by the Seattle D than a flash of brillance. You have Stevens dropping two huge passes, Ward dropping two also, and a bunch of iffy passes. Poor clock management at the end of the second quarter.

All in all, it’s a crappy game. Hopefully it’ll pick up soon.

It looks like Roethlisberger has finally calmed his nerves. That’s real bad news for the Seahawks.

I think this game is about to become boring.

About to? It’s been a boring, sloppy game. And, as much as I like him as a person, Bettis is fat, slow and old. Sure he’s a great story, but it’s a bit depressing to watch him.

Oh, shit.

You had to say that! :smack:

There should have been an illegal contact call in the end zone on that interception play. The zebras missed it.

What do you call that, a Big Ben Blooper? And for his part, Herndon really should’ve found a way to the end zone.

Oh, that’s just great. The Steelers had a chance to all but ice it. Now they’re giving me a heart attack.

Pray that they haven’t caught the Philly Pox. Symptoms involve a rapid early performance followed by choking and death at the last minute.

Damn, I screamed so hard and so loud when Parker did that run that I scared the shit out of poor Maggie. She’s hiding under my bed now and won’t come out.

OK, so I may have been wrong about Roethlisberger. Still, we’re ahead going to the fourth; things could be a lot worse.
