Right, it’s called “Making America Great Again.”
My money’s on the argument was about her not wanting to hold the felon’s dinky hand.
Cruella de Vile’s thugs are just so kind.
Highest standards? Yeah, right. Stop watching 1950s cop shows and tune into the news.
There’s one less convicted felon in Washington, Dictatorship of Columbia, at least temporarily.
And how does the fugitive felon feel about the funding fiasco?’
And, of course, the aforementioned fugitive felon has put his own thumbprint on the impending implosion for our government.
Announcement at the Warp Ten Saloon: “Irony! Irony! Table for Irony, party of hundreds!”
So this has nothing to do with national security, yet hundreds of generals and admirals had to make last minute travel arrangements to show up to get harangued at by a mediocre at best former officer.
But, hey, the co-conspirator’s boss had a “great idea” for such an “unpresidented” gathering!
There’s still no idea what’s going to happen there. But if I were one of those flag officers, I’d be quite nervous if I were to see 14.5 inch anti-aircraft guns in the vicinity.
And we have a brand new reason to put someone in a super max prison!
That’s a great plan, isn’t it? Let’s run a prison poorly so we can use it to put people into harsh conditions all because we don’t like the person who lessened their sentence. And why this plan? Oh, you’ll love the reasoning.
By roadblock, they mean what he wanted to do is illegal. No doubt he’s a fan of “prison justice”.
Has anyone been keeping count of the Second Felonial Era/Conalot’s crimes? This definitely belongs in the category of crimes against humanity.
And this isn’t the only think Cruella de Vile is in the news for now.
Lewandowski? Where else have I seen that name?
Halligan shows she doesn’t know words like a lawyer ought to.
I expect trump will issue an EO stating that “principal” and “principle” are now interchangeable, and will threaten Webster’s with legal action.
And then there’s this:
Didn’t they already try that with DOGE? I can’t remember; how’d that work out?
Perhaps Kristi Noem called in a favor. I imagine she’d enjoy giving all the Native populations of her state a huge “fuck you.”
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Saturday he will send troops to Portland, Oregon, “authorizing Full Force, if necessary” to handle “domestic terrorists” as he expands his controversial deployments to more American cities.
He made the announcement on social media, writing that he was directing the Department of Defense to “provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland.”
Trump said the decision was necessary to protect U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities, which he described as “under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists.”
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for details on Trump’s announcement, such as a timeline for the deployment or what troops would be involved…
I don’t see him following through. He just has to score MAGA points and stir up liberal outrage by threatening to do it. He gets the benefit at no expense to the US Gummint.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for details on Trump’s announcement that the United States has declared war on yet another city/state.
“War ravaged Portland”
Sane Americans, if you’re not holding every Republican voter you know responsible for what’s happening, then you have fumbled the ball.
Or, choose your metaphor.
How does one do that?
I blame them, sure, along with the people who could not be bothered to vote. How do you hold them responsible such that something change?
Does anyone care? To put it into perspective, one day last week over a million people participated in demonstrations and strikes in France. How big are the anti-goverrnment protests in the US? What about Portland, specifically? Anything planned there?
Who can say with certainty? The major news organizations are complicit in minimizing coverage
Well, it was estimated that the last big one in the US a few months ago was participated in by approx. SIX MILLION people. So, there’s that.
The next one is Oct 18. Google “No Kings.”
That is good news: I will point out that protests are only one part of “doing something about it”, and are often ignored (if the government can afford to do so), but the momentum/pressure needs to be there.
That’s a personal call. I’ve cut some of these fuckers out of my life entirely. Others, like coworkers, I cooperate with at work, but refuse social invitations.
Whatever fits in your life; go with your gut.
Wait, I’m confused. Portland still exists?? I thought it was burned to the ground in the BLM protests.
From the same people that brought you… “Prison isn’t supposed to be comfortable. If you don’t want to end up there, don’t commit crimes.”
Never mind.
I’m guessing the ultimate source for her information is George Santos? Or did our good journalist do some investigation that I missed in that article?
I do notice that it sounds amazingly similar to the complaints that the ICE detainees were making with the exception of complaining about over crowding which would be a difficult claim to make if you are in solitary.
Trump issues his enemies list:
The White House released a list of nearly 30 elected officials – all of them Democrats – who the Trump administration said incited violence against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents throughout the U.S.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker were at the top of the list…
