Lawmakers in the state of New Jersey have recently proposed a new act aimed at protecting immigrant communities, and the name of it is cryptically vulgar.
The new act, A4446, plans to “fight unlawful conduct and keep individuals and communities empowered.” Online sleuths quickly realized that taking the first letter of each word of that pledge spells out the acronym “F–-K ICE.”

It’s an old story, but I think it fits because it demonstrates the lack of understanding and concern for the law amply demonstrated by ICE. Keeping prosecutors informed seems like it should be trivial, but I guess when there’s no accountability….
And an example of some Republicans finally showing a little spine in regards to ICEs’ abuses of power. Not sure what benefit he hopes to see out of stepping down from the race. Maybe he wasn’t in a strong position?
