It is depressing that it’s more likely that Trump keels over from a heart attack than that the government of the United States of America can figure out how to get rid of a con artist from the office of the President.
Hahaha I can’t believe you actually asked this question.
A recording of Trump saying that we need to fire Yovanovitch because she won’t let us pressure Ukraine into starting an investigation wouldn’t be enough evidence for the banana Republicans.
Interestingly, neither CNN nor MSNBC are reporting the hospital trip. Maybe it’s an unfounded rumor?
Well, I hope that gets the CNN reporter in trouble if he tweeted an unsubstantiated rumor.
It’s not unsubstantiated. The White House confirmed.
This could be it. I’m still waiting for an announcement from any decent neurologist saying, “Yes, the brain tumor is at least 40% of his brain size has affected his capability from telling the truth for at least 30 years…”
That or, “See what the Democrats did? They made me sick! Hillary made the poison!”
Oh. Linking to something that said that would have avoided sone confusion.
Okay. When I looked on TV they weren’t talking about it.
My link contained a quote from the White House.
Without any evidence to support it, it sure can be (easily dismissed). Your nifty hypothetical is just that: a hypothetical.
It is better to keep some thoughts to yourself rather than risk giving anyone any ideas.
I do not relish the idea of a second civil war. And, particularly, not over something stupid and false.
Well, it’s a good thing that there’s a ton of evidence to support it then.
Well we have group A accusing group B of being corrupt. And group B accusing group A of being corrupt.
Group A was arrested by the FBI.
Group B went under oath in front of Congress, a day after someone else was charged with a crime for lying under oath to congress - with a possible penalty of serving 20 years in Federal penitentiary - and said that she never did anything but do her job, and that her boss - who can easily be called in to confirm the matter - said that she was doing a good job.
I vote that group A are the ones who are corrupt.
Okay then. How about “…as mini-heart attacks caused by years-long Adderall and Sudafed addiction…”
Or “We just x-rayed his head and half his brain is missing!”
I think the danger is false equivalency. Trump and the GOP are politically motivated, and therefore corrupt and guilty of dirty politics. But then again, to the average viral cat watching voter, Biden did some stuff over in that place near Russia, so he’s probably almost as bad. See, that’s how Democrats lost the last election. Hillary Clinton was just as corrupt as Trump. “Both sides do it.”
I have at least two family members who defend Trump on those grounds among others. “Well I worked in state government and I’ll tell ya: they’re all crooked. They all get richer in office.” I guarantee that a lot of people will look at this and conclude that the Democrats don’t care about the rule of law anymore than the Republicans did when they impeached Bill Clinton over a cum stain. They don’t really understand. They don’t want to understand. They’re more interested in their jobs, their fantasy football leagues, Netflix, UFC, and viral cat vids.
All the known diseases of the camel presenting as a venereal infection, abscess, and testicular defenestration.
Fiona Hill testified as much as well. The call record released by the White House was not out of the ordinary in form or style, including the ellipses.
Having observed your approach to parsing evidence over these several years, I’m confident of three things: 1) Nothing I offer will be adjudged as persuasive; 2) I have better ways to spend my time than to attempt to persuade such a one; and 3) I am comfortable with that choice.
Enjoy the thread.
