Are coffee’s effects really so detrimental that such a satisfying drink is worth giving up? I have heard arguments to both affects. I have read that addiction to coffee causes constriction of blood vessels in the head when undrunk, causing headaches, seemingly unhealthy. I have also heard the antioxident effects of coffee are good for the health. So should I quit or keep on?
perhaps a moderator will stumble on this question and move it to the general questions section.
Latest report (too lazy to cite) states that moderate coffee consumption is good for one’s health (anti-oxidant feature).
Next year’s comments may differ.
There must be a zillion Google hits on this though.
In moderation, coffee is good for you on balance. Virtually all known or suspected downsides only come into effect with drinking more than 4 cups a day.
