The Turkey Flies at Midnight!

Oops, I mean: “The Turkey is in the Oven. Repeat: The Turkey is in the Oven!”

And now I get to have a bit of a break before starting on the roasted brussel sprouts and the cranberry sauce.

Lemon pud for afters.

Hope all my Doper friends are having a good holiday.

Hope you are too! My favorite is really Boxing Day because by then I’m off duty as a Mom and Grandma.

I think a hot rum toddy is in my future tomorrow. cheers!

Thanks, and best wishes for the holidays.

Boxing Day is essential. Don’t know how folks can survive Christmas without it.

Hot toddy sounds great. At this time of day, however, it’s tea and listening to Messiah on CBC. Perhaps later, relaxing by the fire in the evening. :christmas_tree: :fire:

Also good ideas :candle::christmas_tree::candle:

Caught most of the King’s Christmas message on CBC. No mention of the Sussexes.

I looked, and there’s no turkey in the oven. There’s prime rib, though.

I’m having Hamburger Helper tonight.

I don’t know why they call this stuff Hamburger Helper. It does just fine by itself, huh?

If you just want pasta noodles and mix of spices, I guess. Try it and let me know, okay

Or did you mean just eat the hamburger?

Movie reference.

Got some beef bourguignon braising in the oven right now.

Do you have a recipe for this? We love lemon things.

We did a smoked chicken (no more turkey after Thanksgiving, it’s a rule here  ) sweet potato souffle, snap peas, bread and fruit salad. Pumpkin cheesecake and an LBV port my husband got me for afters.

thanks. I think I’ve seen before.

Only when the fat man does his laundry.

The Fat Man is covered in soot. I repeat: The Fat Man is covered in soot.

With God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.
