close enough…“She lied and cracked my stein”
Ordinary germs and cars = Plain Strains and Automobiles?
New Year’s Eve party dresses for gamblers = Year End Clothing in Las Vegas?
The others are killing me…I Think I’ve got the movie for Woody Allen, but I can’t come up with an appropriate rhyme…
I’ll throw it out in case others can…
The dirty laundromat I’m thinking rhymes with Mighty Aphrodite, and contains “Untidy”…The Hoffman movie I’m at a complete loss for.
Shaky Jake
(If this posts twice, sorry - I had sudden inspitation on the Vegas one, and hit stop)
Footsie = Dustin Hoffman movie
I’m thinking of a movie about a gentile all covered with blood, and it rhymes with a recent children’s movie.
2 for Shaky Jake, 1 for pugluvr, and I thought Year-End Clothing in Las Vegas was gonna be a tough one.
The Woody Allen movie is not Mighty Aphrodite.
Goy Gory (gee, all this and alliteration also!)
I’m thinking about a movie loosely based on a fable that rhymes with a Harrison Ford movie already spoofed.
Good, because I was gonna scream if it was something like “Untidy Wash-All-Nighty”…which, on the other hand, is worth a chuckle.
Is it something along the lines of “Grimy Mister Cleaners”?
Shaky Jake
Oh, my pathetic first effort was “The Pan Who Could Be Ming” (The Man Who Would Be King - great flick if you’ve never seen it)
Shaky Jake
I was thinking of Grime Amidst the Cleaners, but you’re close enough.
Is anybody still working on the floating duplex/Kubrick one, that’s my favorite so far but it could be pretty tricky.
While I await Robot arms reply, I’ll throw out…
A movie about toilet trainint that rhymes with a steamy Lawrence Kasdan film noir from the early 80’s.
Not too tough, but I got a giggle out of thinking it up.
Shaky Jake
make that “a movie about toilet training”…
Started, set it aside, never went back to it…Hint?
I was trying to work with “Docked” and Dr Strangelove, or A Clockwork Orange…
Tricky indeed.
Shaky Jake
You know, if this keeps up, I’ll show up on Satan’s radar screen soon, although my MSPIMS/IMHO:GD/GQ ratio may not be high enough.
Robot Arm, how about, “Two Houses in One: A Space on the Sea”?
DAMN, pl, I just thought of that - well done!
Shaky Jake
Well, I was thinking “A Place on the Sea”, but damn well done.
And of course, nothing rhymes with A Clockwork Orange.
I’m thinking of a movie about an animal wrapped in a substance and it rhymes with a movie about a fantasy land.
I’m thinking about a movie about making next-year exhibitionists out of chaste people, rhyming with that Kubrick sci-fi classic.
Is anyone working on mine from page 1?
I’m (also) thinking of a movie about a deluded character from the Star Wars trilogy that rhymes with a recent Kubrick film.
dogsbody, I’ve been thinking of your original question, but it’s a stumper.
Now your second one is a stumper, too. There’s only one recent Kubrick movie, and I can’t think of a single SW character that rhymes with it. However, I did keep the sound turned off a lot during Phantom Menace.
dogsbody
Is it Lies!, cried Hutt ?
