The U.S. has fallen into shadow -- it is time for the world to move on

It’s a division of Space Force.

Jews…In…Spaaaaaace!

Let’s not make a Space Mountain out of a mohel, o.k.?

I wonder if Mel Brooks is reading this thread and getting some ideas.

Wait, I wonder if Mohel Brooks is reading this thread and getting some ideas.

When they tell you not to cut in line, they mean it!

I just had to look it up. Yes, Mel Brooks is still alive. 91! Does he have another movie left in him? I think so.

Actually, he’s 92. Today’s his birthday, born on June 28, 1926.

You know, if white people didn’t want to live in a multi-ethnic country, maybe they shouldn’t have imported millions of African slaves.

Well, we should definitely round them all up and do something bad to them. Do you have a list of those white people who did this stuff? Where are they living today?

:stuck_out_tongue:

Love the replies, all the more astounding as I can’t understand a word in the OP. Is “Amerimutts” a good thing to be or not?

Ever seen Stripes? Even our noses are cold!

Mazel tov!

Didn’t you mean, mohel tav?

Okay, okay, I promise: I’m done with ‘mohel’ references.

Is that you, you incorrigible plagiarist, Einstein?? For your powers of deduction seem amazing… Why, pray tell, are you not out solving the mysteries of the universe… or something?

Yeah… 'Cause your self-immolation really panacea’d the shit out of those pesky racial divisions – ay, Jimmy C.? En passant: Fort Sumter was a black ghetto… right? :dubious:

I would advise against stoking a hot war with me, Moshe Dayan – I am way above even your stable-genius-in-cheddar’s pay grade; let alone, that of the Internet hoi polloi… Kosher snuff porn

Just as your predictably obvious, embarrassingly easily elicited, throw-away comment could be construed as being anti-intellectual:wink:

I reckon I could give it a red, hot go:

1. Clearly the North are unable to arm wrestle directly with the armed-to-the-teeth, potency-in-pew-pew-is-more-important-than-health-care-and-a-safe-society U.S., so they have had to hold the South hostage. The perpetual state of bellicosity that the South has had obtruded upon it, by its U.S. warmonger slavers, has justified the aforementioned, albeit crude, yet effective stance. You know… 'cause Mossadegh and Saddam and Qaddafi – to name just the a few victims of [mainstream consumable] U.S. sponsored overthrows of governments.

2. The last time I checked, the U.S. had some 600+ bases around the globe… And were also well fond of not-so-surreptitious drone-striking those big, bad “ISIS” bogeymen (…no, of course not the Israeli Secret Intelligence Service, silly!)… To say nothing of the illegal strikes (*§8) on whatever hapless nation is seen as convenient fodder to serve as distraction for a given U.S. administration’s Machiavelli of the day.

3. The reason the Korea War began was because of a “police action” by the U.S. under the diaphanous cover of t̶h̶e̶ its U.N., instigated as an opposition to the so-called creep of… foreboding silence communism dramatic crescendo in the Asia-Pacific region – the ideology that even Patton later cited as the enemy that should have been targeted [in lieu of the Germans] in part-2 of the Great War(s)… As distinct from pandering to Stalin by… o, you know, handing back millions of Slavs for wholesale slaughter. The same reason, in fact, that the Yakuza were moulded into the “LDP” in Japan – as hit-men against the “red peril”.

…Oh! And let us not forget the dismissal of the ‘esteemed’ MacArthur by Truman, for almost turning Peking into Hiroshima 2.0! :o

4. One does not even need to stoop to the reductio ad absurdum straw-men examples of the deep South lynchings apartheid segregation, to find racial enmity in the U.S. today. As a “black” person, simply walk out onto any given crumbling, pothole peppered “First World” (LOL!) U.S. street, and you are sure to encounter, first-hand, the warmth of the racial harmony that washes over the nation.

See, the thing is, the CNN / Fox “News” junk food current affairs and hi**stories** that woebegone, gob agape Amerimutts have been force fed for generations, have been as nutritious for the nation’s collective intellect (and issuing foresight), as their super-sized, high fructose, slow-acting cyanides have been for their physical health. And not unlike how the easy-to-scapegoat “fat” has been tarred, feathered and stocked for all that ills the waddling nation of bloated deadites, so–too–has the simpleton-mind-assuaging “good guy” / “bad guy” dynamic pervaded their peoples’ thinking – becoming a surreal prism through which to view a world that they have barely cursory interest in, and little more than ‘ballistics based’ contact with.

That’ll earn you a warning. Insults are not allowed on the SDMB except in The BBQ Pit.

Anymore and I’ll close the thread.

I wouldn’t call your post “red hot” - more like “the temperature of warmed over lizard spit”. YMMV. Nonetheless -

Unsurprisingly, this makes very little sense in the context of arguing that North and South Korea are closer to peace than the American Deep South is with the rest of the country.‘Peace is about to break out in the Korean peninsula because the US is firing drones at ISIS’ is not an argument remarkable for its cogency, coherence, or clarity. Did you have anything on point?

Not exactly. And by “not exactly” I mean ‘not even in the same zip code as true’. The North invaded South Korea. That’s what started the Korean War, which continues (officially) to this day.

I am trying, with more desperation than success, to tease out some kind of meaning from the above jumble. Is this supposed to prove that the Civil War, Part II, is about to break out? If so, it needs to be a bit more substantial. Of course, if I added more fiber to my diet I could produce something more substantial than your post, but let’s see if you can step up your game equivalently.

“Their thinking”, and “they”? Your post began as tragedy, and ends as farce.

Again, welcome to the SDMB. Also, good bye.

Regards,
Shodan

Shodan paraphrasing Marx. Now I have seen everything.

“One morning I paraphrased a quote in my pajamas. How it got in my pajamas I will never know”. - Karl Marx

“Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet”. - Abraham Lincoln

Boy, this rabbi likes stringing big, non-related words together in incoherent sentences that almost seem to make sense.

Reminds me of my writing when I was 15. I hope my friends, family and teachers have forgiven me by now.

In my mind the US lost it’s right to be considered the “number one” country in the world the day the inventor of the DVD sold the rights to a foreign country. Honestly everything that’s happening now feels like an embodiment of everything wrong with the US. I’m waiting for the country to break apart and become a bunch of third world countries. I hope it doesn’t happen but sometimes it seems inevitable.
