The ugliest gun ever - Hi-Point 995

Is this the ugliest gun on the planet, or what?

Hi-Point 995 Carbine.

The whole appearance of it looks totally lopsided and bizarre. It just seems wrong on so many levels.

That is definitely an ugly gun.

Another contender for the ugly gun award is the Nambu pistol.

Then there is this one that looks like a hot glue gun .

What the fuck IS that last one?

It just says “deergun” on the site. What is it actually called?

I think that is what it’s actually called.

I don’t think I could ever be comfortable firing a weapon with a retail list price of under four bucks.

I wonder how many people were actually killed by the deer gun.

Their ghosts probably haunt the CIA headquarters to this day.

Yeah, but that was in 1964 dollars, today that’d be like $200!

My vote’s for the M3 grease gun.

It’s not as if it’s daddy was a work of art either.
Which is somewhat different to the situation with the legendarily elegant Luger, which somehow descended from this critter.
Fugly rifles - there was an epidemic of these as people started playing with the bullpup concept, which seemed to lead unavoidably to head-on collisions with the ugly tree.

Gah. Nasty, all of them.

I have an AR-180.

I got it specifically because it’s ugly.

I think you are nuts. The Bullpup style is elegant and efficient looking. There’s a reason just about every “future” action movie features this style in it’s interpretation of a advanced weapon.

The first one you chose is a little bulbous but the Steyr AUG is a slick looking tool.

I really do not like the way bullpup rifles look. I never have. They may be effective weapons but aesthetically I don’t like them. You mention that “future” action movies use them - well, I just happen to dislike pretty much anything that fits the common definition of “futuristic.” (The SKS, AK-47 and M14/M1A would be at the top of my personal list for best looking guns.)

Out of all of the bullpups listed I’d have to say the Enfield was the least bad-looking, in my opinion.

The shape of the weapon linked in the OP for some reason reminds me of Wile E Coyote’s nose.
