In theory, yes. Stalin was supposed to have eaten part of a mammoth that had been found frozen in Siberia, and caches of walrus and seal meat that were stashed by eskimos have been found a century or more after they were first buried. The meat was said to be not exactly tasty, but still edible.

I was reading the engrossing account of the men who laid the explosive charges on the Norwegian heavy water plants. I lost interest reading about the vitamin values of reindeer eyeballs.

I shan’t be visiting this thread again.
