Tired of being stuck behind “blue hairs” in the hammer lane on the interstate? Is the “finger” just not capable of expressing your anger when someone cuts you off? Are you tired of the pimply faced teen screwing up your order at the drive-thru? Does your neighbor constantly brag about his new Hummer? If so, then you need one of these.
I thought you were going to mention one of these: http://forums.atvconnection.com/i/GalleryImages/598/crusader2.jpg
I must say however that on the Baltimore Beltway, having that viper with the machine gun on the back might stop a few tailgaters. Cut me off? I don’t THINK so…
Dude, that’s not an SUV, it’s an SAV (Suburban Assault Vehicle)
Oh yeah, I just remembered the Lamborghini LM002. It was originally designed to be a HMMV-type vehicle for some Mid-East oil state, but Lambo didn’t get the contract. Supposedly the civilian version came with the .50 cal machine gun mounts in the back.
Hmmmmm…looks mighty familiar….
Yes, it does. The Hummer (prototype 1979) is an obvious rip-off from the Lamborghini Cheetah (prototype 1977), which was the basis for the LM002.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Kenworth Pilgimage, THE definitive SUV.
If the poseur site was working I could get you the specs.
I don’t get it. What kind of “security” work required an armored vehicle armed with a machine gun, disguised as a regular SUV? The kind of “security” Halliburton subsidiaries are doing in Iraq?
Oh damn, I thought you were talking about an actual Dodge Viper with a machine gun. I’d wager that’d be just as effective, albeit in a different way.
That, and probably the kind of folks who do large “cash and carry” kinds of transactions, if you know what I mean.
Funny thing is that while the Pilgrimage is a spoof, I have seen similar vehicles made by Freightliner for pulling big 5th wheel RVs. One I saw looked very much like a slightly shrunken normal sleeper cab with a 5th wheel receiver instead of a semi’s kingpin.
Actually, I’ve seen vehicles identical to that Pilgrimage driving around, so while that pic might be a spoof, they do exist.
They might even be from the same company!
