If that’s true, she should have thought of that before she took Danielle to audition in the blinds. According to Danielle, it wasn’t her idea; it was her mom’s. Her mom took her to the audition as a surprise for her.
Tiffany and Debby Gibson toured at 16 years old in the 80’s. Justin Bieber’s 19 and has been touring for a few years. It’s doable.
I loved Adam’s comment, “How many times do I have to say Amber is wonderful?”
It was getting so silly. Over and over lavishing praise on the same three people. Yeah, I think everyone at home figured out just how wonderful these singers are.
The show seems to be pushing Amber for the win. People think she’ll finally be the first Voice contestant that will have a break out career. We’ll see. Winning doesn’t really matter. Clay Aiken didn’t win Idol and he certainly is a breakout star.
I’ve wondered if Simon is the reason Idol contestants have done so well? Even troubled Susan Boyle has done well in spite of limited touring. So many Idol contestants have gone on to huge careers. So far that hasn’t happened for anyone on the Voice.
I’m still hoping for a Swon Brothers win, but realistically they are a long shot.
Amber?
Well, that says a lot doesn’t it? I never could remember the various names this season. I just remember faces and which coach goes with the face. I couldn’t even remember that much until we got to the final 8. All those perky blonde girls sort of blended together in my head.
Yeah, looks like it’s Danielle.
I just ran across this article on the Swons. Congratulations for winning the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Rising Star Award. Blake won it ten years ago.

I just realized that we could both be right. Danielle’s mom is not married to her father. Danielle’s stepmom might not want her to go touring, but her mom is the one who signed her up for The Voice.
When Danielle sang that song to her mom, I wondered who that was standing so close to her father. Tonight they showed her and introduced her as Danielle’s stepmom.
From the shows last night, I enjoyed The Swon Brothers’ performances. Of course, they went with rock songs, not their hard country choices. I don’t know if the smooth harmonies will deliver over the energy and fun of the other two.
Danielle has a sweet voice and she has a nice tone. She’s set to have a career whether she wins or not. Winning would be a big prize, but between Blake and her demonstrated talent, she will have opportunities if she wants them.
The one I’m most rooting for is Michelle, simply because she’s the one that excites me when she performs. I was singing along with the Swons, and Danielle has a nice sound, but Michelle makes me cheer. And she’s done better with the drop outs in her voice she struggled with earlier.
I also liked the mirror trick. I was looking at it, then thought “hey, that looks like a TV”, and then it stopped mirroring her. Nice call back with a twist.
Honestly, I think all three of these will have opportunities. We’ve seen all finalists from the previous seasons get record deals.
I still don’t know why there hasn’t been any breakout stars.
2 hour finale tonight. Glad I have a DVR.

Or you could just tune in the last 5-10 minutes.
Danielle Bradberry. Will she be famous and on the CMA’s five years from now? I guess only time will tell.
I do know she’s got to put more emotion into her performances. A Great voice but not much substance right now. Hope that changes as she grows up and gets some life experiences.
Michelle should be fine. Doesn’t Usher have his own label? He’ll probably produce a record for her. They seem pretty tight.
Usher does have a label. Maybe Michelle will get signed. Sure hope so.
The point is I might want to watch some of the performances.
So with one thing and another I got caught up and then it was 9:45, and I didn’t want to start at the beginning, because it might take close to the full 2 hours to watch, or some indeterminate lesser amount of time. But I knew my local news would ruin the results for me, because they’ve been following Danielle Bradbury. Then I realized all the lead in is irrelevant, so I just tuned in to watch the results, with the rest sitting on my DVR to see if I want to bother watching it.
I can’t say I’m surprised. The Swons were #3. Michelle came in second, which is great. I wanted her to win, but Usher seems like he’ll take care of her. Danielle won and good for her.
It’s a good thing I did, because my local station opened the news with the winning announcement - no lead in, just showed the clip. Then the spent several minutes of the broadcast discussing it, including going to both Houston watch parties and talking to people there.
I wanted either the Swons or Danielle to win. For some reason I was less impressed with Michelle the last couple of weeks.
Anyway, here’s hoping they have long and successful careers.
