Sophia’s still missing, they’re still at the farm, the barn is still mysterious, Lori’s pregnant, and Daryl is off badily injured in the woods somewhere. Only 3 episodes left 'till TWD goes on hiatus 'till February.
Do what now?
I don’t remember this at all. Maybe I missed the very end of the ep?
Dang, they’re really gonna drag out this missing kid thing, aren’t they? Enough already. More zombies!! Less talking!!!
It was in the previews last week.
Daryl really is a bad-ass, but we already knew that.
Oh, man. That sucks. I am quickly growing to hate Andrea, and I hope they throw her out of the group.
Andrea, you stupid ass! Did it never occur to you that a member of your own group might be injured? Did you learn NOTHING from Otis and Carl?
Herschel - “It’s a wonder you people have survived this long.” HAH.
Best line of the night (after that one) - “Don’t be so hard on yourself; we’ve ALL wanted to shoot Daryl.”
Yea. The barn.
The lady has MAJOR issues. I suspect I’d have shot his ass, too. At a distance even with a scope, reflected sun, the way he was walking?
Still, he’s growing on me. Hope his character survives.
Okay, that was enjoyable. Andrea needs an ass-whippin’, and I’m hoping somebody gives it to her soon. Daryl is my new favorite redneck. Herschel is actually starting to annoy me a little bit.
SURPRISE! ZOMBIES! No shit he wasn’t supposed to see that. So, keeping them in there in hopes of a cure? That doesn’t seem like a bad thing on the surface, but that’s just way too dangerous.
apparently the writers are sort of following the graphic novel after all.
I neither know nor care about that.
ETA: That sounded a little too snappish - I just don’t want us to spend another thread bitching about the comics or snarking about not being allowed to discuss them.
Sorry, I got the preview mixed up with this week’s episode. :o
I liked the flashback at the begining. That does seem like something the military would try. Did we actually see signs of Atlanta having been bombed last season though?
True, but shooting him was stupid for several reasons. One walker at that distance facing several armed men experianced in close quarters z-combat just isn’t enough of the threat to warrent shooting blind like that. Especially given how worried they are about gun noise and antagonizing Herschel.
I think we can all agree the that only sane, logical reaction to Glenn’s discovery would be for him to wake the rest of the group, collect Carl & Daryly from the farmhouse at once, then leave in the middle of the night. Of course that won’t happen. Glenn will probally spent the whole of next episode deciding whether or not to tell the others. Granted the next episode could be over by lunchtime.
LOL. No prob. The only reason I knew that much is because somebody referenced it on another thread elsewhere. I don’t think I’ve picked up a comic/graphic novel since grade school!
Yeah, it was beyond stupid for Andrea to shoot Daryl. But really, some of that is on him. He couldn’t have looked more like a walker if he’d tried.*
Why are they hoarding zombies in the barn?
mmm
I know he was injured, but he was dragging his foot zombie-like and he had a blank, zombie look on his face as he approached, which then disappeared at the very last moment
Best episode of the season for my money. Good zombie action, good dialogue.
They napalmed Atlanta? Dang! (And no, there was no sign of downtown Atlanta having been napalmed in the early episodes.)
Nitpick: A continuity error bugged me. When Daryl was lying on the ground talking to “Merle” the dirt smears on Daryl’s face kept disappearing and reappearing.
I liked the flashback scene (am watching the rerun now), but Shane says “they’re dropping napalm in the streets.” If so, they must have done that in a different area than Rick and the others saw during their forays into the city, since I would assume there’d be a LOT more damage than we saw in those scenes.
Andrea needs a slapping. HARD. Herschel already said he didn’t want guns, Rick said they’d respect that wish (even though it’s stupid as hell), Andrea knows by now that initial appearances are not necessarily fact. At this point, I really hope she loses a lot of credibility with the group, and starts to question her own craziness.
You realize that I will have to look for this now, and it will annoy me only because of you.
