The Walking Dead; 2.13 "Beside the Dying Fire" SEASON FINALE (open spoilers)

The Rick Grimes in the books is indeed from Cynthiana, Kentucky.

There are times when Kirkland and friend’s are needlessly, carelessly indifferent to the source material.

It’s more intensely irritating when the deviation is unnecessary - why change Rick’s home department?

Stupid, careless, par for the course.

Friends or friends’, not friend’s

Stupid autocorrect

My WAG is that it saves a few seconds explaining things in the limited time of a TV show.
There was a certain irony, Rick and Shayne killing guys in their own uniforms at the bus area.

Anyone else really bummed there was not a new episode last night and a thread this morning to discuss it?

I saw Georgia license plates on a couple cars this weekend and caught myself wondering why they’re not more alarmed about the zombie apocalypse. Goof.

I am consoling myself by watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. Damn, what a good show! Why didn’t someone tell me sooner?

Not going through withdrawal AT ALL! {twitch}

All those jerks, keeping the good stuff to themselves.

I guess that would beat cutting your hand and leaving a blood trail for them to follow!

It just didn’t seem like Sunday without Chris Hardwick discussing the latest episode.

The one thing I hate most about cable shows, the shorter seasons making for the longer wait between new seasons (or half seasons, as cable seems particularly fond of).

I’m bumping this because I just watched the episode. I’ve read the thread, and one burning question hasn’t been answered:

What the heck did Carol say when Darryl asked her what she wanted, while they were sitting around the fire???

Carol: He’s putting you down, blah, I’m a burden, blah
Darryl: what do you want?
Carol: Cow mumble something bluh
Darryl: mumble bluh something
What theyd say???

Carol says “an honorable man” and Darryl answers “Rick is honorable”. I think, it’s been a few weeks. That was gist of it though.

I’m going to be really, really pissed if they kill of Darryl.
Really.

I read an interview with Sam Witwer the other day where he said that he played the zombie inside the tank in the pilot episode because Darabond had a prequel about the fall of Atlanta planned with him as the star that was going to be “Blackhawk Down with zombies”, but it was off the table now.
