The group’s at the prison, Lori may have a zombaby inside her, Hershel’s been biten & gotten his leg chopped off by Rick, a group of prisoners is still alive, and Andrea’s getting over the flu.
Good news! According to my sister-in-law DISH subscribers have AMC again.
Carl 1 - Laurie 0.
Let’s see, attempting to perform CPR, without a mouthguard, on a man who may already be in the process of reanimating? How is this woman still alive? What’s next, attempting to train zombies as domestic servants to make up for the loss of electricity?
Carl 1 - Laurie -1
Remind me what Lori did that he’s grateful for and that she’s the reason they’re still alive?
I like that Rick killed the man without angsting over it but he was stupid to chase the other one down the hallway like that.
Lori was stupid as hell for performing CPR on Hershel.
One of the best episodes of the series. This season is off to a great start. It’s too bad it took them two seasons to get to this point.
Don’t chuck zombies at Rick. It pisses him off. Remember that.
Anyone else wondering how many people were originally locked in with Prisoner Ponytail? Poor Tiny.
The prisoners stabbing the zombies in the torsos was hilarious.
Aaaaaaaaaad while I’m glad that Hershel is alive, I’m disappointed that Lori continues to have a face. Don’t tease me like that!
Obviously she didn’t see the first set of webisodes. Also Carol’s idea does make a certain amount of sense. I’m a little disappointed there wasn’t a pregnant zombie wandering outside the prison for her to pick; it would’ve answered one question. Of course if Lori actually needs a c-section it means she’s either already dead or might as well be.
Imagine that horrific scene where she cuts in, and a zombie baby arm reaches out. Now I’m shocked they didn’t actually do that!
He’s grateful for her saving Hershel. It almost sounds like he says “we’d be dead if it weren’t for you” but listening to it the second time, he says “he’d be dead…”.
There was a lot to like about this episode. Like DianaG said, the prisoners using riot tactics on the Walkers was really funny. I liked the looks exchanged between Rick and the dude with the 'tude, after the guy tossed the Walker on Rick – they both knew what was coming. The last thing Rick needs is another Shane.
I liked that Rick was conflicted about locking the other guy out, but did it anyway. They’ve gone through too much to worry about convicts, even if their only crimes were burglaries or a “fondness for pharmaceuticals”. They’d have to guard the women. Hell, they’d probably have to guard Glen too.
I’m not sure what to make of Lori and Rick’s conversation. He couldn’t look at her, and I don’t know if it’s because he’s ashamed of what he did (tossing that guy to the Walkers) or because he’s over her.
I agree-- terrific episode. Rick taking out Tomas with the machete, and Hershel reviving were both great scenes.
So, if Herschel survives without turning – longer than Andrea’s sister survived anyway – do we assume that the virus has mutated? Or do we assume that the amputation helped? He stopped breathing.
If there’s one thing we know about the zombie apocalypse, the days of mouth-to-mouth resuscitation are OVER!!!
If I recall correctly, the bite to Andrea’s sister took a pretty big chunk of her neck. I think she just bled out really fast, and it actually took her hours to turn.
Okay, help me out here. They’re all already ‘sick’ right? They’re all going to turn when they die, right? so why’d they have to kill Tiny because he got a bite/scratch? Is this a plot hole or am I just missing something about how this all works?
Yeah, Amy died within minutes that night, and zombied out in the morning.
