"The Walking Dead"; Episode 4:1 tonight

I say I come to bury the hatchet. No not in your head dog.

Why thank you, sir.
I’ll loan you my flame thrower for zombies any day.

THAT’S who she is. I knew her voice but couldn’t place it.

Anyone else think the crazy chick (and her husband) were going to turn out to be (still human) cannibals? I thought they were going to try to eat Rick. Which granted, they sort of did, but not in the way I was expecting.

She looked like a zombie wandering around by herself and going on about how wonderful her husband in a bag is, and Rick is thinking, “I’m sure he’s a real boy scout.” Her tent was nice and tidy though.

Another gripe: Rick didn’t make sure she’d never get up, put hubby-in-a-bag out of misery, nor scavenge the camp for useful stuff. Compare to the solo hiker last season they didn’t pick up, then took his stuff after finding him eaten on their return leg.

Yeah Rick is really slipping.

Yeah, and they never eat dead stuff so when they bite you and you die you’re mostly intact, except when you aren’t.

Hubby cleans up.

As Rick is walking away afterwards it looks like he’s holding the foil-wrapped-whatever he gave her. So as least he took back his gift.

I thought that was a sandwich.

The shelf wasn’t dry and protected. Just before the medic picked up a bottle, we saw something dripping down onto the shelves from the ceiling, implying that the roof was leaking. Then we saw that the rooftop was soft and rotting like everything else. It was still strong enough to support one or two walkers, but not when they all gathered in the same place. So when the shelves crashed, the walkers were attracted to the sound, and gathered until they reached a critical mass, at which point the roof failed.
