I thought I’d post a link to Daryl Cagle’s Professional Cartoonists Index. He assembles all current political cartoons according to theme. There are 13 pages (so far) about what’s going on now. You might also want to check out “Freedom Fries” “Stinkin’ Lousy France” and “Still More France Bashing”. Oh, and “Duct Tape”. The Columbia tributes and Elizabeth Smart dedications are quite touching.
And when all this has died down, you can look over the 9/11 page.
As soon as I saw the title, I knew which site you were thinking about. It’s absolutely fascinating, and changes daily. The tributes when Billl Mauldin died were wonderful as well.
I work for a small daily newspaper in Oregon, and often get stuck when trying to come up with subject matter for an editorial. More than once, a cruise through the daily stuff will trigger an idea for an excellent editorial.
Besides, it’s great fun for folks like myself who are editorial cartoon fans and have many collections of the same in their home libraries.
