NOAA seems to think there’s a hurricane in the Atlantic, about to bring (100% Probability ) some pretty windy weather (winds over 58 MPH, anyway), right around Delaware Bay.
The Weather Channel seems to disagree, predicting winds only in the high 30s or so before everything simmers down. Sea Isle, NJ hourly forecast, e.g.
Why the disparity? I saw the same lame hourly TWC forecasts for several other cities in that similar vicinity.
