It was one of those soft-core flicks “Skinemax” is notorious for I take it?
Doesn’t really count as those movies aren’t meant to be good. They’re just an excuse to get stupid, beautiful young women to take off their clothes and mimic having sex on camera. They’re porn for guys too lazy to go out to the video store and too cheap to subscribe to the Spice Channel.

Yeah i saw it, mute button came very handy. Though i gotta say the hot pink ape had me intrigued, it wasn’t enough to turn the volume up.
Well then, they certainly could have spent a * little * time making the costumes fit and the scenes flow a little. It looked like the whole thing was shot with a camcorder. The movie was so crappy they would have been better off just sitting around naked and not trying to act. Cripes, even a little music and some decent strip-dancing for an hour and a half would have been 30 times better.
I suppose, the people who created it were just trying to throw something together for the sake of soft porn. Heck, they even used the standard cookie-cutter * three babes in a space ship crash on a distant planet where the apes speak english * plot. But of course during a time of such duress the first thing on their minds is getting naked and eating each other out. I would probably do the same thing.
Why the hell did we watch that? It was like a trainwreck in slow motion.
The Earth-girl with the smallish breasts could dance though, and she made a cool face when she was gettin` some.
Damn! When I read the title I thought that the Bo Derek version of Tarzan the Ape Man must’ve been on cable again. It’s surely one of the worst movies of all time, and fits the description.
Haven’t seen Playmate of the Apes yet, but I did used to have a site called Skinamax Central back before Playboy clamped down on softcore and censored most of the fun out of it, if you like bondage.
There are a couple of halfway decent Skinamax films in terms of being fun to watch. Frex, “Key To Sex” is a pretty good bedroom farce about a guy whose boss gives him the key to his house for safekeeping while he’s on vacation. All his buddies and officemates find out about it and finagle the key out of him, and the place turns into a hot sheets hotel while the protagonist tries frantically to keep the place intact. Fun little flick.
I am looking forward to Playmate of the Apes, though.
Evil you won`t be disappointed. The apes on the distant “planet” were even wearing Levis jeans. Oh, and as soon as music started playing the girls would take off their tops. The apes just happened to have a D.J. at their disposal and the girls just happened to bring their bikinis with them on this particular space adventure. Great stuff !!
