This article details a flame war where he insults fans over a pretty even handed article about the future of Star Trek. I had read the article before I even saw this story and didn’t think it was nasty or mean. Plus I think the gist of it, i.e. that Star Trek would work best back on TV, is spot on. Bob Orci apparently didn’t see it that way…
The problem is assholes like him will always have a job. It would be a lot more entertaining if, when the next ST movie tanks, to line up the writers and director and have them shot. That I would pay to see! (As opposed to anything they put out in-universe).
