I’d say the stereotype might have a grain of truth in it. Where are you more likely to find out lesbians, the theater department or the accounting department? Theater types tend to be more accepting of–I hate the phrase, but I’ll use it anyway–alternative lifestyles than are many others. So it makes sense that lesbians in the theater department might be more open about their sexuality.
