Nobody? The youngest guy on my list is seventy-four. How are none of them dying?
I don’t know about that. I once posted a list in which all were over ninety-five. Got three points that year. I think someones once said that when you are that old, you have got very, very good at living, and don’t want to stop. I wonder if I want to live as long as my maternal grandmother, who was less than a month short of her 108th b-day when she passed.
A good reminder to check your picks. 32 Points for standard_deviation:

Two of my Hall of Famers, Larry Wilson (18 pts.) and Gayle Sayres (23 pts.) died in September. My alternate, Willie Davis (15 pts.), inducted into the Hall of Fame in the next year after my list, 1981, died in April.
I noticed Gayle Sayres on the regular list and that got me to remember that I had put this list in. So I checked it…
Stalwart British comedian Bobby Ball has died of COVID-19, aged 76. Known as part of a double-act (Cannon and Ball) and solo, including acting in sitcoms, he was a very popular and apparently genuinely nice man.
He was in my backup list. Missed out on points. Darn it.
Thanks for checking, candide… good for 41 points and 5th place:

In case you’re not aware, Kopek passed away in February (I’m Mrs. Kopek). I was just checking his picks in both this and the regular pool and saw that he had Sean Connery. He would be so damn happy to finally have points in both pools while I still don’t have any points in either one! I would never hear the end of it – and damn, do I wish I could never hear the end of it.
It’s too bad he didn’t have Connery on both boards.
I was just doing a wellness check on the late Kopek’s and my picks and had totally forgotten that Helen Reddy died on September 29 at age 78. She’s on my “Carol Burnett and Friends” list, so that’s 22 points and a unique pick for me!
Good for 22 Points, and 11th place for Old_Wench

I believe this is the first year that the late Kopek and I got points on this list. He would have been so happy – and I would have really enjoyed gloating that I got more points than he did! Damn.
Woo-hoo! My first Death Pool win!
