There Oughta Be a Law

These people are corrupting my children.

My daughter’s been singing something about “soul sister”, from a song that she heard at a friend’s house.

I’m like, oh, I know that, that’s easy - Patti Labelle. Here, let me show you the YouTube:

No. That wasn’t what she meant. She was talking about these prettyboy assclowns:

that’s just wrong

kitchy. kitchy. ya. ya.

I can’t let this sink with no reply.

My first thought was… oh, the song by Train.

My second thought was… who hasn’t heard this song? (you may want to try some of those other buttons on your car’s radio)

Seriously, Train has some decent stuff, and compared to some of the stuff my teens listen to they aren’t bad at all.

Ok, you don’t have to say it… I’ll get off of your lawn (and by the way I’m almost 49)

ROFL!

We have three radio stations here - classic rock, country, and NPR. I pick NPR.

It’ll probably be fun to dip back into pop culture when mine are old enough to start bringing it home (they’re only 6 yrs old now). I just hope they have some taste.
