You know, when I come home at 2:00 in the morn, and I don’t feel like going to bed, and I don’t have anyone to keep my company, SDMB is a good place. But frankly, SD chat would be far more satisfying. I mean, I can’t be the only person up at 2:00 MDT wishing there was more going on. Then again, I might be.

See, if I had a place to “chat” I could talk about how I met lovely young Maria tonight. While she’s formerly from Calgary, she’s now from Palm Springs. While she was wearing red jeans (ick), she was awfully cute, plus she has her own business (wasn’t talking to her long enough to find out what kinda business), plus she is from Palm Springs. That’s almost enough to get past the red jeans. These are things I could babble about if I had a place to “chat”.

Well, there is a channel in irc (undernet). Not official or anything, so be careful. But eventually every topic turns to sex. And it gets pretty slow in the late nights, but usually there’s somebody paying half attention.

There is a channel called #straightdope on Internet Relay Chat. To find us, just download mIRC (or Ircle, if you’re a Mac fan) or go to this site and when you get on, type /join #straightdope and you’ll find us.
Like BraheSilver said, it does get a bit slow and the topic frequently wanders into sex.
