The additional definition of “fag” is, of course, British slang for a cigarette.
Lonesome’s use of the word “faggot” was out of line and rude. His personal definition of “faggot” is probably close to what George Carlin once said (to the best of my recollection).
Be that as it may, his using that word was out of line. Whether he was aware of the sexual orientation of the other poster or of their gender, it is still wrong.
I think we need to clarify what names are not allowed on this board. We all know the biggies; the racial and sexual epithets, religious slang and so on. We can’t call someone a douche bag because the person in question might be a woman who is currently applying a vaginal lavage. Don’t call someone a rectal wart because they might have been afflicted with a horrendous case of them and they are self conscious. I guess we also can’t call people “cum-belching road whores” anymore. We have to be careful of combinations of words like “conservative” + “bigot” or “liberal” + “loser”.
I suggest we should simply call other people “assholes”. Everybody has one so no one should feel excluded or targeted.
In fact, I’ll start here and now. I proudly proclaim that I am an asshole. My mother is an asshole. My father is a major asshole. I work with a bunch of assholes. I am surrounded by assholes. I strongly suspect that you are all assholes.

Ah, Lonesome. I offered to you, only a few days ago, some feedback that might have helped to keep you from being so darn lonesome. You didn’t take me up on it, and things seem to have taken a turn for the worse.
Well, if you ever change your mind, let me know. I’ll give you some helpful feedback, free of charge.
I just assume everybody here is gay, or has OCD, or Asperger’s, or a claimed IQ of 140+. It just takes too much effort to keep track, for too little reward.
