That’s peachy. You know the Constitution has a way in it for you to get your voice heard, right? First Tuesday after the first Monday in November, IIRC. If you’re outvoted as you have been for about a century, that’s because the rest of the Republic disagrees with you.
Well, sort of. I don’t know. There’s an awful lot of weeble voters, uninformed voters, barely literate voters, and voters with weak reasoning skills. It might not be that they disagree with Crafter_Man. It might be that they just pull the Republican lever because it’s on the right and they’re right handed.
If indeed it was added to the Bible (and the new Testement was not gathered together until Constantine’s time which was in the 300’s). Even then it was just humans that decided what was inspired by God, but Christians who say it is the word of God and swear by it, should then follow it, not just pick and choose what they want. Since a lot is contradictory I know it would be hard to follow.
I would only say that, sometimes, a contradiction can depend on a point of view. If I say p or ~p is false, then that’s a contradiction, unless I’m using a paraconsistent logic.
It is also a personal decision to believe or not. Such as in Matthew chapter 16 where Jesus promises to come in His glory with all his angels while some of them are still alive. Since he hasn’t come yet, then there must be 2,000+ year old people here now. The Catholic Church says when Jesus was supposed to have said,“This generation will not pass away until all things have been accomplished” now says ‘this generation’ has a different meaning, however those standing there would surely be of that generation…a matter of what one wants to believe.
