A family has wrapped their entire house, inside & out, with aluminum foil & sheet metal, to protect themselves from the death ray that people have been using since 9/11 to kill them all!
That’s why those folks got cable. So they could see The Crack Channel. I have just been informed about devices which I can use to hook my computer, cell phone and other sundry electronic devices together. That frightens me. I wonder how much sheet metaling my house would cost…
I saw that story, and loved the interview where the woman of the house said they had several “radar-opaque blankets” (whatever those are  ) that had spontaneously burst into flames.
I don’t know about you, but having one item self-combust in my house would be sufficiently weird. Having it happen mutiple times would convince me to move far away. And make an offering to the restless spirits I had offended.
If the steel sheeting can keep the death rays out, it can also keep them in. Clearly, the source* of the rays is already inside the house, and the blankets self-combusted in the sea of radiation like a foil-wrapped Arby’s-burger in a microwave oven set to ‘high’…
