With all the technology of today, why are people still unsure of whether or not there is a creature swimming in a lake? How big is this lake anyway? Isn’t there any way of scanning the lake all the way through using sonars or something?
" BBC proves that Nessie does not exist "
Thank you!
They did just that. BUT I STILL BELIEVE!
Great response time, eh?
Excellent.
Of course, she simply swam out to sea (via the River Ness, which empties into the Moray Firth) during the sonar scan, and swam back once the scan was over.
So you believe in Nessie? Ha, but do you believe in Morag?
I just believe. Full stop. Period.
I just believe. Full stop. Period.
ooooopsie.
So, we are (in this thread) attempting to prove that something does not exist…correct?
This is the same argument that many people claim is not possible when applied to WMD, right?
Hmm, maybe they should look for Nessie in Syria or … (nevermind)
Or maybe the should look for WMD in Loch Ness.
Lmoa
Don’t you people read the Weekly World News? The Loch Ness Monster is Saddam’s WMD!
Who’d like to bid on pictures of nessie in my bathtub
Why is there something in your tub that might be considered a monster? Huge and scaly with lots of teeth (potentially dangerous)?
or just something that’s hard to find…
I suspect that scientists in the field of zoology are too busy with projects that matter to take the time for such a non-problem. Money and time for such nonsense is limited to journalists and documentary producers who are looking for a story to fell an hour of TV programming time.
Hush. Nessie will be considered a threat to the US, Bush will say he knows where she is in the next State of the Union, and pretty soon we’ll invade Scotland.
Then Hailburton will take over the haggis industry.
And it would serve them right!
Still no news 20 years after this thread started, but if anyone is free August 26 and 27:
