They used my "Trivia" entry at the IMDB!

I enjoy looking up information at the Internet Movie Database on the movies I watch, especially under the “Trivia” and “Goofs” sections. Last month, after watching Magnolia, I submitted some trivia regarding director P.T. Anderson’s references to his father Ernie Anderson’s character, Ghoulardi. Today, I happened to look, and they actually used it on the site! Visit http://us.imdb.com/Trivia?0175880 and the last entry there is mine.

Next, I have to send in an entry describing the goof in Wild, Wild West (yes, I actually watched it), where the full moon is shown hanging in the sky in the middle of the day.

Is that necessarily a goof? I’m sure I can remember many a time when I’ve looked at the sky during daylight hours and saw a full moon.

I could be wrong.

Definitely a goof. The moon can only be full when it is precisely opposite the sun in the sky as seen from Earth. That can only happen when the sun is down.

Actually, if its precisely opposite, its a lunar eclipse…

GODAMN INTERNET! First, Napster steals your song, and now this. IMDB too? Stealing from you? oh wait… You wanted them to post it? oh…cool… congrats…cool for you…
