For more than two years, I’ve been working on making a wedding present for my best friend – matching hand-knit Aran sweaters. A few minutes ago, I put the last stitch in on the collar of the second one. I’ve still got a few ends to weave in, and I’m not sure when I’ll see her and her husband again, but they are finally finished!!!

congrats, its always nice to see something you’ve created completed esp with such a long process… two years is a long time… , my mom is trying to teach me how to knit, i am not very good at it so shes knitting me a scarf instead, i can’t wait till its done.
Congratulations! I remember my first big crochet project, a lace tablecloth. It took around two years as well, and the feeling when you snip off the thread from sewing the last motif in is hard to describe.
