Are you sure you know what “hype” means?
Oh!
I mean it in the sense of “Exaggerated or extravagant claims” of how great that movie is. Refer freedictionary.com.
Now let us pardon the my English and move on.

Well to quote freedictionary in full “Exaggerated or extravagant claims made especially in advertising or promotional material” [my emphasis]
There is no “hype” around Fargo. Certainly not now, and indeed even the hype at the time of Fargo’s release was - by Hollywood standards - positively understated. Fargo was and is just extremely well loved by viewers and critics. Extravagant acclaim from viewers and critics is pretty much the polar opposite of extravagant claims in advertising and promotional material.
Please substitute “hype” with a suitable word, and comment if you have any.
I am shocked, SHOCKED to find there is pointless nit-picking happening on teh Internet.
OK, try “acclaim”. You don’t get the “acclaim” surrounding Fargo. It’s a film that a very large number of people find funny, touching, highly original and well acted. If you don’t, sucks to be you, I guess. I doubt it’s possible to explain it to you if you don’t get it already.
The reason I nitpicked you on it was because I find that sometimes people try to use “hype” (rather than “acclaim” or similar) in inapt circumstances as a perjorative. They want to imply that the acclaim surrounding something is artificial - a creation of marketing people - and don’t want to face the reality, namely that the acclaim is actually as a consequence of popular and critical reaction. It’s hard to admit you don’t get a joke that everyone else is laughing at, I guess.
Why anybody thinks The Big Lebowski is worth watching.
Why Citizen Kane is held up as some sort of masterpiece.
Why anybody listens to more than one Dave Matthews Band song.
But no one actually does. We’re all listening to the same song played over and over with different names.
Buffy the vampire slayer.
Look at all movies before Citizen Kane. Look at all movies after. Not only is it a masterpiece it was revolutionary. Any movie that is more than a couple years old needs to been seen in context.
I think that is a valid nitpick. However, once the OP made it plan that he is not writing in his native language probably better to drop it.
The Kardashians.

Have you watched season two! Don’t say anything about BTVS unless you’ve watched season two. Season one doesn’t count, although it did have some decent episodes season two is the season that the show should be judged on.
I can’t tell if you’re really a Buffy fan or just doing a spot-on parody.
Poe’s Law as applied to criticism of TV shows, eh?
If this were a thread for debating the merits, I’d perhaps care enough to discuss it.
Why people like *Black Swan. *Intelligent, mature people, I mean. My 16-year-old nephew liked it, but that’s different.
