My big one is when the hero and heroine are about 10 seconds from being blown up, discovered by the bad guy, doused with poison gas, etc. and they decide that it’s time to talk about their feelings. When I see that, I want this to be the dialog.
Hero: There’s one thing I want to tell you.
Heroine: Yes?
Hero: It’s difficult to say this.
Heroine: Just try.
Hero: I … <kaboom>
