Two more Dopers engaged!

In this thread my SO, Pixilated, questions what I might have meant by a comment along the lines of If this works out.

Well, the other night I felt the time was right and popped the question.

She promptly exclaimed ,“Oh shit!”

Then she clapped a hand on her mouth and got a look on her face I normally equate with bad chicken salad about to make its presense known.

It took her about a minute to regain her composure and clarify that all of that meant yes.

No date set yet, but we’ll let you know as events unfold.

In my defense, I was completely caught off guard and it threw me into a mild anxiety attack, which seemed to last forever. It shouldnt have though, I had a premonition 2 days before… no, seriously, you can ask my bff and some coworkers.
I was completely thrown off - no “tall-tell signs” he was going to pop the question… just the way I’d want it =)

So, as to not hijack my beloved’s thread, I shall start one asking for ideas for rings.

PS He called dibbs on the announcement, otherwise I would’ve beat him to it =)

sorry, slight nitpick… but it’s Pixilated (as in whimsicle, not in one’s right mind) not pixellated as in picture-related. =)
