Things that piss off left handed people

I was born a leftie and apparantly the apparatchniks responsible for my early schooling ‘pursuaded’ me to cahnge (they were jesuits, what can I say), however I still eat left handed with the knife on the left and the fork on the right, and you know what really bugs me? Fish knives. There, I’ve said it, its out in the open now, Moonshine is bugged by right handed fish knives.

I’m very left handed and can’t say that I really have any problem with most of the things listed.

I didn’t realize that vegetable peelers were hand-biased. I’ve always used them with my left hand without issue. Roller ball pens are a problem, since they designed to be dragged rather than pushed; and a slow drying ink will smear (I finally went out and paid $70 for a really good pen, problem solved).

What I really don’t understand are the lefties that are acting like their right arm is just vestigial and hangs limply at their side.

You type your posts (presumably) with both hands. It is really that hard to move the stick shift on a car with your right hand? I can understand difficulty with specialized movements and precise motions (writing, silverware use, etc.), but something broad shouldn’t be that much trouble.

(And I speak as someone who absolutely can not use a knife with my right hand)

And where are all these people who mock or try to convert lefties? I’ve never met one in my life.

(I’ve heard stories from older generations of superstitious relatives doing things, but I have never directly heard of it happening to anybody I know younger than 40)
