Back from a brief round of Christmas shopping and getting plates, napkins and plastic ware for a potluck tomorrow. It was declared that tomorrow was a snack day around noon today and by 2:00 or so it had escalated into a full-blown potluck. I’m not sure what’s wrong with us. Our potlucks are generally catered because most of my team is either too busy or not gifted in the realm of cooking. But someone’s bringing sloppy joes, someone’s bringing a vegetable plate, there will be lots of cookies and chips and such.
Hugs to everyone.
That’s great about your job, Shadow. Obviously they value you. I’m also glad you’re going forward and getting help right away. Seems like recognizing the point where you need help is really important.
Sounds like things are going better today, Cutie Pie. Yay!
Hope that cold goes away soon, rigs. Good choice calling off tomorrow. Your pneumonia was memorable; we’d prefer not to accumulate more memories of that sort, if you don’t mind.
The glowy cats are a hoot. You should indeed very proud to be Korean, Hank.
Glad there’s prospect of heat, mmmmmmmmmms. They better actually fix it then or I might be on a plane to California to give them a piece of my mind personally. Sorry about the awful work situation, though.
I loved your emo-essay, Hank. Yeah, I think there are people who feel like they’re our other half; sometime they’re our evil twin and sometimes truly our better half.
Hope you find the right car seat soon, LiLi. I walked past the car seat aisle at Target tonight and thought of you.
I’m tired (I was in meetings from 8:00-2:30 today pretty much non-stop. I had a completely drained brain by the end of that. Actually had one more little meeting after that; didn’t remember until after I got home. Had to go deal with something and got completely distracted.
Guess I’ll toddle off to bed…
More hugs for all.
