I just bought the game “Little Big Adventure”, for the music. It’s an old DOS based game so I may not get it working. But I bought it none the less. This gave me the idea for this thread.
I used to buy Kinder eggs for the toy (not the chocolate). And I am guilty of buying PC and Game magazines purely for the CD on the front.
What things do you buy/have bought for unexpected reasons?
I recently bought a big-ass commercial refridgerator because I couldn’t maintain a low enough or consistant enough temprature in my storage room for beer fermentation.
As with most things in life, beer concerns are high on the priority list.
I bought a big Pyrex cup. I was going to make Jello shots, but I don’t have anything to cook with except for a microwave. They turned out decent.
I cannot resist bargains. Show me a great price (defined as a price unlikely to be offered again any time soon) and I will buy something I maybe only marginally need or even want.
I should probably try and limit my visits to www.cheapassgamer.com but I think resistance is useless.
I used to buy condoms to use as blood packs for gunshots in my films.

I had a Pyrex measuring cup that I used for just about everything for maybe a couple years. I drank soda out of it, and you didn’t have to worry about heating soup in the microwave. It was UtilityCup.
