Hey, why pay for a lube job when you can get as much or more satisfaction by using high quality oil, a wrench and your own two hands? Sure you have to be careful to wipe up any spills and handle the recycling yourself, but think of all the times “the professionals” end up stripping the nuts by using too much torque.

So I got it for myself.
I didn’t get an iPhone, although I didn’t ask for one. The bf did get me an iPod Touch (much to my dismay! Why did he spend so much?), so I’m going to return it and get an iPhone tomorrow. The iPod is lots of fun, but I’ve had the same phone for a year and a half, and it’s reaaally worn. I drop it all the time. But I’ll get a skin for the iPhone.
I didn’t get anything from my husband or kids, so I bought myself lots of pretty, just-for-me girly stuff! Chocolate body wash!
A Samsung YP-T10. They were on sale at Best Buy for $120 a few days before xmas, so I ensured it’s presence by purchasing and wrapping it myself. Why thank you Santa! 
I got the book I wanted and one of the movies; so I’ll go out and get the other movie I wanted, The Lookout, for myself. All in all, a good Christmas, gift-wise. I got very little (which is good), but just about everything I got I wanted, even if I didn’t know I wanted it until I got it, if that makes sense!

My Mom gives us money each year to buy what we want. I had to put a little of mine with this. I also got myself the Dexter Season One DVD set.
The 5th Harry Potter movie and an iPod Nano, as soon as I get paid.
That one is mine too. I specifically didn’t buy it when it came out so I’d have something to ask for this year, which normally is a huge problem my family complains about with me, and no dice.
I won’t see my boyfriend til tomorrow, and he did mention that he noticed that “She Spies” was out on DVD. So he might be getting it for me, but somehow I doubt it, so if not, I might use one of my gift cards to go out and get it. If I manage to solve this 4x4x4 Rubik’s cube I got within a week or so, I might go get the 5x5x5 one, but that doesn’t look likely.
Me, I’m going girly and geeky. I bought myself a bottle of rose-scented perfume from Crabtree & Evelyn’s, and I’m going to buy myself a keyboard for the laptop, since it’s a pain to type anything long on it. A wireless one could be fun! I could also use another calendar or two.
I didn’t see it on sale anywhere in this country, so I went to Amazon US and ordered myself an Illuminite cycling windbreaker.
